A B.C. bride with a terminal form of pancreatic cancer was given the chance to have her wedding thanks to the help of friends, family and staff at North Island Hospital in Courtenay. On Friday, in the garden behind the hospital, surrounded by loved ones (and a unicorn), Stephanie Vernon and Torian Poulin tied the knot a littler earlier than originally planned.
