Thousands gathered in Tehran on Saturday to mourn Iranians killed 12-day war with Israel. State TV said the funeral, dubbed the “funeral procession of the Martyrs of Power,” was held for a total of 60 people, including four women and four children. Ahmad Khomeini declared, 鈥淲e are all united,鈥 as crowds called for revenge and blamed the U.S. “We will never abandon our country,” Khomeini added. At least 16 scientists and 10 senior commanders were among those mourned at the funeral, according to state media.
