A string of cruise ships are docking at Canada Place amid one of the busiest weekends of the summer for cruise ship travel in Vancouver. Conservation groups are celebrating after Fisheries and Oceans Canada ordered the stop of controversial gravel mining from a salmon-bearing creek near Mission. The City of Vancouver and the park board are asking for the public's input on the future of the much loved Kitsilano Pool.
