A man who pleaded guilty to killing his mother in a brutal attack last fall was sentenced in Nova Scotia Supreme Court. Delina Pinsky, known to her friends as Lana Pinsky, is remembered for her work transforming Halifax’s North Memorial Library’s reading support program. Ella MacDonald reports.
