Alberta Sheriffs Police Service aims to decrease rural wait times

The Alberta government says a new provincial police force is moving ahead, announcing the agency’s first leader as former Calgary deputy police chief Sat Parhar. Premier Danielle Smith says the new service is not meant to replace the RCMP, but to work alongside existing law enforcement. Jordan Prentice reports.
