ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ at 6 Maritimes: July 5

Community members gathered in downtown Halifax to mark Disability Pride Month, celebrating the voices and visibility of people with disabilities. Organized by the People First Halifax, the event featured speeches, activities and more. While the event lasts only one day, the message behind disability pride continues year-round. Plus, with the Canada Games around the corner, New Brunswick’s top beach volleyball teams went head-to-head on Saturday, with an August trip to Newfoundland on the line.
