As the death toll from flooding in Texas surpassed 50 people on Saturday, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott promised Saturday that efforts 鈥渨ill be relentless in going after and ensuring that we locate every single person who鈥檚 been a victim of this flooding event.鈥 Meanwhile, Kerrville resident Scott Walden, 63, recounted on Saturday the terrifying ordeal he and his wife faced when they had to evacuate their home. 鈥淲e literally jumped in the water and it swept us down to about 200 feet down. And there is a creek myrtle tree that we grabbed hold of and we waited for rescue.鈥
