How prepared is Canada for flooding events?

Amid severe flooding in Texas that is now confirmed to have killed at least 100 people, questions are being raised north of the border on how prepared Canada is for any potential flooding events. Miranda Anthistle was joined by Zach Carriere, a senior research associate from the Canadian Climate Institute, to cover how at-risk Canada is to flooding, how prepared areas are for extreme rainfall events and what steps need to be taken to improve current preparedness levels.
