The Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union (NSGEU)  is calling for the province to step in after the NSCC laid off 27 food services employees. The layoffs come as a result of changes in providers at the community college. But the union doesn’t think their budgets should be balanced on the backs of the lowest earners.
