Surrey cracks down on illegal, no-permit construction

Surrey is cracking down on illegal construction on properties and has already issued 11 stop work orders and more than $50,000 in fines in the last year. The city giving another stop work order and issuing a notice on title to a home in the Royal Heights area. It says there is a zero tolerance approach when dealing with illegal builds.
