Fires burn out of control at the Grand Canyon

Fires are burning out of control at one of the most visited national parks in the U.S.: the Grand Canyon. The canyon’s north rim is now shut down, because of two fires fueled by extreme heat and dry conditions. Officials say the White Sage Fire has grown to almost twenty times its size in just five days. Another fire has destroyed at least fifty structures, including a historic lodge.
