A soldier with a bloody ear was seen marching, sword in hand, during France’s Bastille Day military parade on Monday. A horse also broke away from the Republican Guards cavalry formation and another fell as the nation commemorated the storming of the Bastille prison in 1789, one of the key events of the French Revolution.
