Intense rainfall over New York caused severe flooding in the city on Monday, sending water gushing into a subway train platform, as authorities issued several flash flood warnings across the New York City metropolitan area. “God forbid if someone slips and falls in this [water], you’d have to amputate your whole skin,” one New York commuter said.
