Peterborough Lakers and Five Counties Children’s Centre team up again for Little Lakers Night

The Peterborough Century 21 Lakers are once again teaming up with Five Counties Children’s Centre to host the third annual “Little Lakers Night” on July 24.

Starting at 7 p.m., an hour before the Lakers battle the Brampton Excelsiors, families can enjoy face-painting, freezies, a silent auction and more at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.

Children and families from Five Counties will get to meet the Lakers behind the scenes and take part in the ceremonial pre-game ball drop.

The Lakers will also warm-up in jerseys specially designed by a local 9-year old student named Kennedy — this year’s winner of the “Little Lakers Jersey Design” contest.

Kennedy says she is looking forward to seeing the Lakers sport her creation.
