A new report from McMaster University reveals obesity rates in Canada rose more quickly between 2020 and 2023 than in the entire decade before. Researchers found an average annual increase of more than one per cent during the pandemic years. Dr. Kaberi Dasgupta, physician and professor of medicine at McGill University, joins Candace Daniel to explain the trends and what needs to change.
