At least three people are dead following an explosion at a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department training facility, according to authorities. Sheriff Robert Luna described the tragic incident as casting a “black cloud” hanging over the LA County Sheriff’s Department. “This is, unfortunately, the largest loss of life for us at the LA County Sheriff’s Department since 1857,” he said.
