BCGEU employees union members heading to strike vote

Members of the B.C. General Employees Union are heading to a strike vote. The union says it reached an impasse earlier Friday with the provincial government’s public service agency. The BCGEU represents more than 34,000 workers, including casino workers, wildfire crews and liquor store employees.
