‘Only the best deal for Canada’: Carney on negotiating tariffs, trade with Trump

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney was in Huntsville, Ont., with Canada’s premiers on Tuesday to discuss his government’s ongoing trade negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration. In his opening remarks, Carney said Ottawa was looking for “the best deal for Canada,” in negotiations with Washington and they would “only accept” that.
