Late night host Stephen Colbert isn鈥檛 staying silent after U.S. Preaiswnr Donald Trump took a victory lap over 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' come to an end. On his show Monday night, Colbert clapped back at Trump鈥檚 Truth Social post, joking, 鈥淚鈥檓 the martyr鈥� and the view is fantastic from up here.鈥� Trump had also hinted Jimmy Kimmel might be next, but Colbert defended his fellow host and questioned why CBS would cancel a No. 1-rated show. The cancellation news comes shortly after CBS鈥檚 parent company settled a $16 million lawsuit with Trump over a 60 Minutes interview, adding fuel to the conspiratorial fires.
