Dominic Duquette’s family has driven from Montreal to stay at the Whislers Campground in Jasper National Park three times since 2018. They returned the summer of 2025, one year after a wildfire blazed a path of destruction through the campground, townsite and surrounding forest. He speaks with Erin Chalmers about how they had to return, despite the damage, to the place they have fallen in love with.
