‘Population is starving’: Canadian doctor shares realities of working in Gaza amid Israel-Hamas war

Aid agencies in Gaza are raising alarms, accusing Israel of employing “starvation” as a tactic of warfare amid ongoing conflict. The medical charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has reported that the conditions in Gaza are “unconscionable,” as hunger reaches unprecedented levels among both patients and healthcare workers. A Canadian doctor has spent the past six weeks working in a neonatal unit in Gaza City. She spoke with Redmond Shannon about her experiences.
