For most of the past six decades, Nanaimo has enjoyed hosting the annual bathtub race, first held as part of the city's centennial celebrations. But this year, organizers had to do some last minute scrambling to step up security, in the wake of a tragedy in Vancouver this spring. Taya Fast reports.
