During a press conference in P.E.I. on Monday, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney was asked if he’d follow suit after President Emmanuel Macron announced last week that France will fully recognize Palestinian statehood starting in September. Carney vowed that by working with other international communities, Canada will move towards 鈥渁 situation of a ceasefire [and] a two-state solution.鈥
