In an online meeting, California Attorney General Rob Bonta, with attorney generals of Michigan and New York, announced they are suing Trump’s Department of Agriculture for demanding personal data of every applicant and recipient of a nutritional assistance program, SNAP. Bonta alleged this was an attempt by the Trump administration to target America’s vulnerable, including immigrants.
