Carney says U.S.-Canada tariff negotiations ‘may not conclude’ by Aug. 1

Prime Minister Mark Carney said on Wednesday that it’s possible that tariff negotiations with the U.S. “may not conclude by the 1st of August.” Carney added, “We’re working hard to have conversations today, myself. So we’ll see.”
