The Government of Canada has removed names of geographical places considered offensive from its online databases. Natural Resources Canada and the Geographical Names Board of Canada are still working on replacing the removed names. Mary Baxter, an historian and journalist who specializes in environment history, joined Miranda Anthistle to discuss the renamings and how it might impact history.
