A Lethbridge Polytechnic researcher has been recognized nationally for his contributions in the development on an AI-driven crop-testing method. The new technology scans crops with near-infrared imaging, aiming to make quality checks faster and cheaper for southern Alberta farmers. Jordan Prentice reports.
