A Calgary woman says she’s had enough with the work being done outside her southwest home, which she says has taken more than two years to complete. She says that since 2022, there hasn’t been a sound barrier to block to traffic noise from Crowchild Trail. She has also lost water usage for a day and no longer has direct access to the front of her home, she says. The city says the construction is part of the city’s noise barrier life-cycle replacement program and that it expects the work to be complete by the end of the year.
