Toronto swimming sensation Summer McIntosh won her fourth gold medal at the Singapore world swim championship on Sunday, beating her Australian and Japanese counterparts in the 400-metre individual medley by 7.5 seconds. The Australian and Japanese swimmers tied for the silver medal. McIntosh’s win leaves her just one medal shy of matching Michael Phelps’s record for most gold medals in a single championship.
