McGill researchers use AI to detect infection before symptoms appear

Montreal researchers have made a breakthrough in detecting infection in your body before you even start to feel sick. In a world first, the study from the Research Institute of the MUHC has led to the development of an artificial intelligence platform that can accurately predict when you’re about to get sick before experiencing a single symptom. The study’s lead author joins ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Morning’s host Laura Casella with more about the technology and how it can help our overburdened healthcare system.
