Responding to increasing concerns from Republican politicians about wildfire smoke crossing over the Canada-U.S. border, MP Corey Hogan – the parliamentary secretary to Energy Minister Tim Hodgson – said the smoke is “something that we all need to deal with” as climate change continues to worsen wildfire seasons globally. Hogan said to make a difference would require the efforts of everyone.
