Havelock man charged for fatally shooting neighbour’s dog: Peterborough County OPP

A man from the Havelock, Ont., area was arrested after he allegedly shot and killed a neighbour’s dog.

Peterborough County OPP say on Sunday officers invetigated a report that a dog had been shot by a neighbour.

The complainant said they heard gunshots and that two of their three dogs came running home.

Officers found one dog deceased.

67 year old Ralph Boake of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township was arrested and charged with killing or injuring an animal.

He will appear in court in Peterborugh on September 16.
