Public transit riders on the south shore can breathe a sigh of relief knowing REM trains will be up and running again next week. This comes after service was cancelled for six weeks. Tests continue on the entire network including the lines to the West Island and Deux Montagnes. Those two lines are still scheduled to open this fall, but as Tim Sargeant reports, future users have their doubts.
