White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt touted progress on Ukraine peace talks Tuesday, saying the meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin and separately with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Alaska “were very productive” with “multiple key points” being agreed upon. After Trump ruled out American boots on the ground as a security guarantee in Ukraine, Leavitt said U.S. air support is an “option and a possibility.”
