Canada Post, union to resume bargaining talks

Bargaining talks between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) are set to resume on Wednesday, after delays due to federal mediators focusing on the Air Canada strike. Recent negotiations faltered when unionized postal workers rejected Canada Post’s latest offer, which included a 13 per cent wage increase over four years and plans to add part-time workers to the workforce. The ongoing dispute has lasted over a year and a half.
