Ontario invests $70M to enhance job opportunities for workers amid Trump tariffs

On Wednesday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced a $70 million investment aimed at enhancing training and employment services for Ontario workers. This includes $20 million dedicated to establishing Protect Ontario Workers Employment Response (POWER) Centers, and $50 million will be allocated to the Better Jobs Ontario program, supporting individuals with funding for tuition, transportation, and childcare to help them pursue in-demand job training.
