Air Canada to cover some passenger expenses after strike — is it enough?

Air Canada passengers caught in the chaos of last week’s flight attendants’ strike may now have a clearer path to reimbursement. The airline is expanding its policy to cover not only transportation costs, but also meals, hotels and other related expenses — provided customers have receipts and meet certain conditions. One air passenger rights advocate believes the airline is offering its customers the bare minimum.
