The new school year is set to begin next week but some students and parents in the GTA will be without their elected trustees. Earlier this summer, the Ford government appointed supervisors to oversee five of the province’s largest school boards, over allegations of financial mismanagement and growing deficits. As Nicole Di Donato reports, some say this takes away a key support for students and parents.
