On Tuesday, Prime Minister Mark Carney announced a three-year extension of Canada鈥檚 military mission in Latvia, where more than 2,000 Canadian soldiers lead a NATO mission known as 鈥淥peration Assurance.鈥 During a four-day Europe trip, Carney visited those troops Wednesday, and as David Akin reports, assured them more gear and more personnel are on the way.
