The leader of Mexico’s Institutional Revolutionist Party Alejandro Moreno Cardenas got into a fight with Senate President Gerardo Norena on Wednesday as a plenary session was ending. Cardenas had approached Norena over not being given the floor before the session ended and the two began to shove one another. Norena was eventually led away as other lawmakers became involved. The Senate president said he and his party plan to file complaints for damages.
