Money from a “historic” tobacco settlement is starting to roll out to provinces and territories, with an up front amount set to come Friday and the remainder to be distributed over the next two decades. But as the money begins to make its way across the country, health advocates are calling on provinces and territories to provide more detail on how the money will be spent, urging it to be put towards tobacco reduction strategies.
