Since 2023, "Bionic and the Wires" co-creators Jon Ross and Andy Kidd have been plugging sensors into mushrooms and plants to translate their electrical signals into mechanical motion to play musical instruments. The Manchester-based band believes their creative form of music will change peoples' perceptions of plants and fungi.
