Some Canadian seniors are living with incurable muscle weakness and atrophy after contracting polio in their childhood, before a vaccine emerged to eradicate the devastating disease in the country. Now, the polio survivors are speaking out about dropping immunization levels, warning Canadians to protect their children so they don’t endure the same post-polio syndrome struggles.
