The Assembly of First Nations just wrapped up its annual general assembly in Winnipeg. The top issues on the agenda included Carney’s push to fast-track Canadian infrastructure projects. Many First Nations say they weren’t properly consulted before the ‘Building Canada Act’ passed through parliament in June. But as Katherine Dornian reports, there are disagreements over how to respond.
