Comments from U.S. President Donald Trump mark the strongest indication yet that he plans to ramp up sanctions against Moscow 鈥 a move he has so far resisted as he pushes for peace talks with Ukraine. On his way to the U.S. Open Tennis Championships, Trump was asked whether his administration is planning to launch strikes against drug cartels in Venezuela. In response, Trump said, “You’re going to find out.鈥 And, one of Canada鈥檚 most wanted fugitives has been arrested in the Middle East. Convicted killer Robby Alkhalil escaped from a jail near Vancouver, back in July 2022. Plus, Catholics around the world are celebrating the canonization of two new saints today. And one of them is officially the first millennial saint 鈥 15-year-old Carlos Acutis.
