Founder of Alf Curtis Home Improvements in Peterborough dies at age 94

The founder of Alf Curtis Home Improvements has died.
Alfred Curtis founded the building supply company in Peterborough in 1975.
The business has grown with locations in Lindsay and Belleville.
All three stores will be closed this friday for his funeral service.
His family says Curtis died peacefully on thursday at PRHC. He is survived by his wife of 73 years June and their two children, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grand children.
Alf Curtis was 94 years old.
