Dalhousie faculty receive new contract offer as lockout enters 3rd week

More than 1,000 professors, librarians and teaching staff remain locked out at Dalhousie University, disrupting the school year for thousands of students. The university says it has presented a new offer to the faculty union, but no timeline for classes resuming has been discussed. Students and union leaders warn the uncertainty is taking a heavy toll.
