Police say on the morning of July 15, two men wearing face masks attacked two people in a tent using baseball bats and bear spray.

The incident took place in a wooded area near Fisher and Kerr streets.

The suspects and victims were known to each other.

On Saturday police located and arrested 44-year-old Jason Robitaille of Cobourg at an apartment complex in Port Hope.

He faces 13 charges including aggravated assault.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing in Cobourg.
