During a press conference in the United Kingdom with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump addressed his UK counterpart’s plan to recognize a Palestinian state amid Israel’s war in Gaza. Trump said it was one of the “few disagreements” the leaders shared, and emphasized his focus on getting hostages back from Hamas. “We have to remember Oct. 7: one of the worst, most violent days in the history of the world,” Trump added.
