The woman accused of scalding a ten year old boy with boiling water has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. Stéphanie Borel entered the plea Thursday morning at the Longueuil courthouse and avoided a trial. The accused could now face years behind bars as sentencing arguments are scheduled for next year.
